What type of information we have

We collect and process the following information through the Membership Management company Ashbourne Management Ltd.

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details).

  • Financial data including billing information, transaction and payment card information.

  • Profile data including contact history, purchase history and saved items and your responses to surveys, competitions and promotions your personal or professional interests.

  • Information from accounts customers link to Ashburn Apps. (Includes Location data if provided). e.g. information stored on Fitbit which is linked to YourApp+.

We collect and process personal information including information about your health when you compete your Guest Screening document.

We collect and process your contact details when you sign up to receive communications from us about our services, offers and events and when you contact us via email or through the contact form on our web site.

How we get the information and why we have it

The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • To administer the services, we provide.

  • To receive communications about our services, offers and events.

We also receive personal information indirectly, via social media if you contact us through those platforms.

If you are aged 16 and under you must obtain parent/guardian permission before providing us with any personal information.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

  • Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting us at the address above.

  • We have a contractual obligation.

  • We have a legitimate interest.

What we do with the information we have

We use the information that you have given us in order to administer the services we provide to you and to communicate with you about offers and events related to those services.

We share information with our freelance personal trainers to deliver training to you and we provide information to our processors who provide the technology solutions that support our services.

We will not pass on or sell your information to third parties for marketing purposes but we will provide information to third parties if required to do so by law.

How we store your information

Your information is securely stored on our premises or those of our processors.

We keep personal information whilst you are a member of the gym and for up to 12 months after your membership ends.

We keep contact details to provide information about our services, offers and events whilst the business is operating unless you ask us to remove them.

We will dispose of your information by removing your personal details from our systems and by secure destruction of any physical copies of the information that we hold.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
